This position is part time and does not require you to commute. You may work from Starbucks, Cesme or your home. It is also a subcontractor position until you prove yourself. Our parent company SoftCom, Inc. is located in Toronto, Canada therefore you are required to start work after 4pm. The designer will be working with our software team to design state of the art web sites, print materials, banners, newsletters with a fresh and innovative perspective.
What you need for this position:
- Experience designing high traffic web sites and user interfaces from scratch.
- Experience with the following: Photoshop, Illustrator, CSS, HTML, and Javascript
What you'll be doing:
- Participate in new product prototyping
- Work hands-on in the development of web applications (Flash / ASP.NET / HTML) and web site
- Build functioning HTML and Flash demos for prototyping and presentations
- Design email marketing templates
- Enhance UI of proprietary backend applications and corporate websites
